About the training provider
Welcome to the St Polycarp’s Catholic Teaching School Alliance, a unique and nurturing alliance of schools whose aim is to support aspiring teachers into the rewarding career of teaching.
We are very proud that St Polycarp’s is currently one of only two Catholic primary teaching schools in the diocese of Arundel and Brighton with a range of inspiring and committed teachers within our schools, many of whom are leaders in their subject areas. Once you start your journey you will become part of this experienced, motivated team, working together in a friendly environment to make you feel supported every step of the way.
Currently we work with both St Mary’s University and Reading University to offer a choice of providers with courses that suit the individual needs of each applicant. Please see their enclosed information and timetables to enable you to make an informed choice.
Applications can be made through UCAS on www.ucas.com, the codes you will need are:
St Mary’s 39DQ
We hope you have all the information needed to support you with this important decision, but please feel free to contact Charlotte Carr on TeachingSchool-ITT@stpolycarps.surrey.sch.uk if you have any questions.
This is a personalised programme which allows you to receive invaluable training in at least two of our alliance schools. If you are considering a career in teaching and value the child and their learning to be at the centre of this decision then St Polycarp’s CTSA is the right place for you.
