About the training provider

Our School Direct course is designed by Trafford Teaching School Alliance (TTSA) and the University of Manchester. Seymour Park Community Primary School is the lead school for School Direct in our alliance.

School Direct courses last one year and result in qualified teacher status (QTS) and award a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE). Our School Direct graduates have very high rates of employment and trainee satisfaction.

Trafford Teaching School Alliance is a Multiple Teaching School Alliance. The alliance is led by three very diverse high achieving schools:

•Seymour Park Community Primary School

•Tyntesfield Primary

Our School Direct programme is the beginning of a long-term professional development, career pathway.

•A wide range of trainee placements across our diverse alliance which currently consists of fifty five partner schools.

•Opportunities to experience wide ranging provision includes: English as an additional language (EAL), Special Educational Needs (SEN), Behaviour Management, Inclusion.

•Accredited Tutors and management of clusters enables us to ensure the highest quality of provision.
