About the accredited provider

In addition to the well-established and highly regarded PGCE, Goldsmiths is delighted to be working in partnership with us to offer School Direct, a school-led route into teaching.

This new path is a way to gain the qualifications and practical skills you need to become a teacher while learning on the job, based in a school while you study.

Courses last for one full academic year (September - July) and involve two placements. Although you will not be able to choose where your placements will be, the lead school will do their best to place you near your home.

Training with disabilities and other needs

Working in partnership with the universities, we support candidates with disabilities and other needs.

All our student teachers are assessed to evaluate their "fitness to teach" as part of their enrollment process.

In the past we have successfully trained student teachers with

*dyslexia

*mental health conditions

Grey Court Alliance is a very supportive and inclusive environment to train and work in. We are very proud or out well-being policy and provision for our school community.
