About the training provider

Inspire and Bosco Teaching Schools have strong links to a range of different schools in the Sussex region. We are committed to providing an environment for teachers to thrive whether they are at the start of their training year or whether they aspire to be headteachers.

Our partnership of schools is not geographically rooted in one area of Sussex. The lead school for Inspire TSA is St Paul’s Catholic College in Burgess Hill and the lead school for Bosco TSA is St Philip Howard Catholic School in Barnham but our partnership is made up of faith schools, state comprehensives, primary and secondary schools, a special school and also independent schools. We are geographically spread from Brighton to Chichester and Crawley to Worthing. We believe we have a responsibility to make teaching an enriching, fulfilling and manageable career.

About the accredited body

We have a strong link with the University of Sussex. Many of our teachers have trained at Sussex through both the School Direct or PGCE routes. We value the strong academic reputation of the university and value their postgraduate qualifications that are gained through training with us. As a research based university, we maintain links through our wider work nurturing our teachers with professional development opportunities from MA and PhDs to sharing their school practice with early career teachers.

Training with disabilities and other needs

We aim to support all prospective teachers to ensure that our teaching workforce reflects the communities we serve.
