About the training provider
VITSA – Valley Invicta Teaching School Alliance is a Teaching School Alliance dedicated to providing a 'world class' experience for all students within all our Alliance schools. We work in partnership with a number of universities: Brighton, Sussex, Canterbury Christ Church and Greenwich, all of whom are recognised as centres of excellence for teacher education and development, their initial teacher education programmes have been Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding, and are considered to be among the best in the country.
VITSA provides excellent opportunities for career development and progression, by using the characteristics of world class education systems, encouraging peer led innovation and developing system leaders. Represented within the Alliance schools from the primary, cross phase special and secondary sectors including the independent sector, where many are Ofsted rated Outstanding. We are also a National Teaching School Alliance, accredited by the National College for Teaching and Leadership.
As a result of this strong foundation we are a group of schools with a genuine commitment to working together to deliver the very best training for potential future teachers. We can offer you a diverse range of experiences that will build your skills as a teacher and boost your career potential in the future. What all of the schools share, regardless of phase or specialism, is the vision, passion and expertise to support you through your new career.
