About the training provider

At Rosecroft Primary School we have been supporting PGCE/SCITT students in partnership with the UEA and University of Suffolk for many years. We have experienced and enthusiastic staff, who value the process of mentoring student teachers through their first steps to becoming outstanding teachers. We also work closely with Encompass, a group of schools which include primary, secondary and special needs.

At Rosecroft Primary we are offering unsalaried placements.

Successful completion of the programme will lead to the award of qualified teacher status (QTS), and may also include a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE).

For us at Rosecroft Primary School it means that we are able to deliver a personal approach to the development of our students. As mentors we can tailor the training to individual needs over the period of a school’s academic year.

• The School Direct/SCITT Training Programme (unsalaried) is for high-quality graduates who want to feel part of a school team whilst training. You’ll pay fees but may be eligible for a bursary .

Rosecroft Primary School (Previous known as Attleborough Infant School) is growing to become a 3 form entry primary school. We currently have Nursery along with YR to Y4 children. The school serves the Attleborough community, is situated on the outskirts of the growing market town, and lies equal distance between Norwich and Thetford.
