About the course
As part of this one-year programme, you will be based in a class and receive individualised guidance from an experienced class teacher as well as a school-based mentor. You will also receive support from Kingston University: a PGCE with QTS will be awarded at the end of the course’s successful completion.
How school placements work
Your first teaching experience will be at another local school (with some time spent at Kingston University) and then you will join us for your final teaching practice. We will endeavour to find you a school within the London Borough of Sutton for your first placement school.
The course fees for 2020/2021 are as follows:
You will need to have a degree grade 2:2 or above and have GCSEs in Maths, English and Science.
We require students with a strong desire, matched with the enthusiasm, drive and potential to be an outstanding teacher.
We require you to have some experience working within a classroom setting, or with primary school age children.
